Golf Marathon
Ready, set, golf!
This spring, Adoption Associates, Inc. will host our second annual golf marathon to benefit orphans worldwide. Our goal is to raise $40,000 for children in international orphanages who lack everyday things that we take for granted, such as food, clothing, cribs, walkers, blankets, toys, coats, mittens, books, and more.
The sad truth is that hundreds of thousands of these orphaned children will never be adopted. These are children who live in waste-filled streets and have no food, no water, and no decent place to sleep at night. They’re children who are victims of poverty and disease. They’re innocent, but their lives hold no hope or promise. At AAI, we remember these children. Your support and prayers will bring real hope into their hearts.

What is a golf marathon?
In its simplest terms, a golf marathon is a fundraising event in which several golfers each play 100+ holes in a best ball format in a single day. Prior to the event, the golfers raise pledges from friends, neighbors, relatives, business associates, etc. on a per hole basis, endeavoring to reach a sponsorship goal of $25 per hole, for a total of $2,500 per golfer.
How can I help?
You can help in two ways. First, consider golfing on our team and raising your own support to contribute to the cause. Second, if you are not a golfer, or if you can’t spare the time to play, consider making a one-time contribution to the event or supporting one of the golfers during the marathon by pledging $1, $2, $5, $10, or $25 per hole, or another amount that you determine.
